About

A structured, warm approach to learning English.

IDLINGYU was built around one idea: English lessons should feel structured enough to show real progress, and warm enough that learners actually want to keep coming back. Every level is planned unit by unit, with clear speaking, writing, and confidence goals — not improvised week to week.

Lessons are led by Yuni, who designs and teaches every unit personally, from lesson plans and slide decks to worksheets, parent updates, and final assessments.

Fully mapped curriculum

Every level is broken into units with a lesson plan, slide outline, worksheet, and assessment — so nothing is taught on the fly.

Progress you can see

Regular checkpoints and a final review project give parents and adult learners clear evidence of what's been learned.

Built for real communication

Every unit works toward a speaking or writing output, not just vocabulary lists — the goal is confident, usable English.

Curriculum

Two tracks, fully mapped from beginner to confident speaker.

Each level is organized into themed units — a lesson plan, slide deck outline, worksheet, parent note, and assessment checklist for every single one.

Curriculum Background

This curriculum comes from lived experience, not theory alone. It grew out of the founder's own path through anxiety and grief toward confident daily English practice, and later, teaching children in a Montessori-based classroom — where they learned that emotional safety, consistency, and real-world practice build fluency faster than pressure ever could. Every level below follows those same principles, mapped to CEFR outcomes at each stage.

Pedagogical Framework

Instruction is guided by three core pillars — Emotional Safety, Consistency, and Real-World Use — mapped to CEFR levels A1–B2 through the MAPIL framework (Meaning, Accuracy, Pronunciation, Interaction, Literacy). It's an action-oriented approach: what matters is what learners can actually do with English, not just what they know.

Emotional Safety Comes First

Most methods start with grammar; this one starts with whether a learner feels safe enough to speak at all.

A1–A2 learners speak up despite limited vocabulary; by B1–B2 they're sharing opinions and reflecting in writing with real confidence.

Consistency Builds Confidence

Fluency comes from repetition and predictable routines, not cramming.

Simple, reliable patterns at A1 grow into fluent, flexible communication by B2.

Real-World Use Creates Meaning

Language is proven through use, not recall — every lesson stays anchored to real communication.

Basic everyday exchanges at A1–A2 grow into adapting language across complex, real situations by B2.

Together, MAPIL and CEFR turn these three pillars into one measurable system — progress is judged by what learners can actually do, not just what they know.
